1. Acquisition of a UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT (USG) CAGE-CODE.

To begin the process, you will need to obtain a valid cage-code. A firm must have a valid government and entity cage-code. This USG registry lets you sell to the USG, the items from your inventory that are present in the USG daily Solicitations, as shown in the USG System for Award Management (SAM.gov).

2.Review of solicitations

The opportunities are listed daily on the US government system for award management, for with the CAGE-CODE, you have the option to explore the USG's daily solicitations and choose the items you want to sell. At this stage, you can proceed with the selling process through SAM.gov, using our e-Connect automatic system. In order to use our automated system, you have to provide the following information:

  • NSN

  • PART NO

  • MANUFACTURER

  • DESCRIPTION

  • INVENTORY

3.Item Delivery or Collection

If the item wins a USG award, you will proceed with the fulfillment of the order, typically through e-Defense. E-Defense will provide you with a Purchase order. Next, you will send the item to e-Defense, which will pack and ship the item with USG requirements as shown in the original solicitation document.

4. Payment Waiting Period

After receiving the item, the USG typically pays NET30, which means payment will be received in full, after 30 calendar days.
